Class Descriptions

Foundations of Mindful Flow for Flexibility and Strength
Join Julianne for this 75-minute online class, where you’ll stretch, strengthen and synchronize your breath with your movement in a welcoming and supportive environment. Perfect for beginners, all ages, and varying levels of experience. This class is based on Julianne’s signature Flow for Strength but with an added focus on enhancing flexibility. This medium-to-gentle-paced session offers a full-body experience, balancing physical exertion with inward reflection. You’ll have plenty of time to practice proper alignment, and the emphasis will be on synchronizing breath with movement. Modifications are provided to accommodate all levels, and Julianne’s encouraging coaching will help you throughout your practice. Mindful Flow for Strength
This 90-minute online class is a full body workout that moves gracefully without rushing, and leaves you mentally clear and physically rejuvenated. It includes a quiet beginning with some words of inspiration and intention setting, warm ups with core exercises, standing poses, varied sun salutation based flow series, balance poses, exercises that strengthen the upper body and core, deep cool down floor stretches and a deep relaxation. Classes are designed to physically engage and stretch the whole body and improve the ability to focus. This class is for all levels and can be approached in a gentle, moderate or dynamic way. Skillful step-by-step instructions and a spirit of lightness make this class enjoyable and enriching. Class sequences remain similar from class to class allowing the student to know what to expect and dig deeper into postures and approaches they are familiar with. Gradually new postures, variations and actions are introduced – providing the challenges necessary to keep the spirit and mind bright and the body growing and developing.  Julianne is skilled at teaching online and guides you to improve and progress even though you are not in the same room with her in person. She will give you as much or as little attention as you prefer. Let her know your preference.

Meditation in Motion
This 75 minute online class incorporates fundamentals of pranayama (yogic practice of focusing on breath) and gentle asana sequences to deepen your connection of mind and body. Reset, rebalance, and reinvigorate your body and vayus (vital energies) through purposeful breath and intentionally refined movement. Each class will be concluded with a mindful meditation session. Cathy Satya Hutton will be your instructor and guide.
